Stone Temple Pilots     Alright, so here is what I make love about STP. The Stone Temple Pilots are a peal that was make in San Diego in 1988. Weiland hooked up with Robert Deleoat a sight in California and then picked up Eric Kretz. and then after at long lastconvincing Dean Deleo to come to California They were offici in ally known as MightyJoe Young. After a while the stage set signed withAtlantic. Unfortunately during recording Mighty Joe Young was told that a vocalisthad already taken the name Mighty Joe Young. After about a month the band cameup with Stone Temple Pilots. Finally The band finished their album CORE inseptember 1992 and it went platinum. it was followed by a second release PURPLEtwo years later which as well as was a big hit and with the Herion addictions aside,Stone Temple Pilots is one of the silk hat bandson the planet- or any planet..Earlylabels of Pearl Jam Wannabees or Nirvana soundalikes strike long since disspated,and Weiland and the boys have created a wall of sound all their own..Sometimesan all outfrenzy of driving energy- (Sex Type Thing, Meatplow, Trippin on aHolein a Paper Heart), to the to a greater extent subdued tracks of Creep, Pretty Penny, andBig Empty. Their newest- Tiny Music hasalmost an "80s smell to it with a more mellow, more raw sound.
