The rights and freedoms of wo men had changed dramatically in the post World War II era due to the Womens Movement of the 1970s. Prior the Womens Movement, women were still modified in their employment opportunities and were restricted and expected by the national to traditional roles of household wives. However the Womens Movement tackled those traditional ideas and fought for the rights for women. by dint of their persistence the government responded by the introduction of legislations to counter sexuality dissimilarity.

During the 1960?s women were expected to have traditional roles of household wives.
